Sébastien Labis is promoted to Country Manager of BPI Real Estate Luxembourg

Sébastien Labis is active in the real estate industry for almost 20 years, including almost 10 years with BPI Real Estate. He has just been promoted to Country Manager of BPI Real Estate's Luxembourg subsidiary.

He joined the company in 2013 as a Project Manager and rose through the grades to become Project Development Director in 2017 and Head of Development in 2020.

His appointment follows Arnaud Regout's evolution within the CFE Group (Group to which BPI Real Estate belongs). Arnaud remains Managing Director of BPI Luxembourg, and also holds the positions of Executive Committee Member for CFE and Chief Investment Officer for BPI Real Estate.

« The CFE Group knows to recognise talent and encourage its development. I am delighted with the appointment of Sébastien, in whom I have always had confidence and in whom I have detected an aptitude for all the technical, strategic and relational aspects inherent in our activity as a property developer. » says Arnaud Regout

Sébastien Labis now manages a team of 15 people and oversees the development of a dozen residential, office and mixed-use developments in Luxembourg.

Among his new responsibilities, Sébastien is in charge of continuing and strengthening BPI's presence in Luxembourg; developing new large-scale projects on existing land holdings; finding new land opportunities; and, of course, pursuing ongoing projects.

To successfully complete this ambitious roadmap, Sébastien can rely on the team and the strength of a multidisciplinary group, majority owned by Ackermans & Van Haaren (AVH).

Intra-group synergies, notably represented in Luxembourg by the general contractor CLE (Compagnie Luxembourgeoise d'Entreprises) and the timber constructor Wood Shapers, contribute to the development of innovative and sustainable projects (e.g. the use of bio-sourced materials, the construction of low-carbon buildings, the challenge of energy conservation, circularity in construction methods and choices, as well as the well-being of occupiers) that stand out at a time when, more than ever, resilience, agility and creativity are required.

« Every day is a new challenge! Real estate development involves many different professions, with many different facets. I am lucky enough to have access to all aspects of the job, to continue to discover new ones and to constantly acquire new skills, all with the support of the teams, in whom I have complete confidence. » explains Sébastien Labis

Holding a Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering and Infrastructure, Sébastien started his career in France, working for major groups such as Fayat, Bouygues Immobilier and Financière Duval. He has nearly 20 years of experience in the real estate and construction sectors.
